Vintage Shop!

Since we are so "free" and got "nothing to do", Kellie, Joyce, Kelvin and i decided to go to the vintage shop in Summit after friday's class. i've been to Summit before but i never knew that there is a vintage shop there until Kelvin told us few days ago. that lucky guy got himself a polaroid camera (a POLAROID CAMERA OMGWTFoot!) for about RM50++!

that place is just awesome i tell you. it's filled with JUNKS -junks are awesome in my opinion :D i like junks. so what?- ranging from toys to clothes to cutlery to ooold computer to camera to ooold radio to...basically EVERYTHING. i even found a calculator - the one that we used in Form 5 there. walao brings back lots of SPM nightmare memory lo...according to the shop owner, most of the junks there are donated by people. i saw some dolls and soft toys there and i was wondering whether they were possessed by their (if) dead owners or not.....

Kellie found a vintage radio and we love it to bits! although it is like, super duper old already, the sound system is still damn nice lo ok! so Kellie bought it for RM130...which is quite worth it!

Digital Media II - Fly Me to the Moon

for lecturers and tutor of digital media II:

for this project, my concept is "counting sheeps" - an "activity" that people do when they can't sleep. :P

so...yea...erm...as you can see from the 1st pic, the moon is a head of a sleeping boy..huhu...=_= the background will be clouds and stars and a textured background. and the falling...thingy...will be numbers...why numbers? 'coz people will count "1, 2, 3, 4..." when they do the i-can't-sleep-let's-do-the-sheep-counting "activity".

the whole mood for this will be dream-like. so i'm gonna use soft pastel colours like purple, blue...etc.

Sunday, 11:40am, my dearest wai po (grandma) passed away.

wai po, you have been tough these few months and i'm so proud of you.

i know you promised to live till i graduate but that's ok, i know you've tried.

please rest in peace and know that all of us love you very very much. and we will miss you dearly.

and i will miss your loud voice when you talk to people :) and haha..i will miss your big mole too.
i will remember every bit of you, how you laugh how you talk how you always walk towards me...i will remember all of that.

you like ubi right? i'm sure heaven will provide you lots of different types of ubi that you will have a hard time to choose from. if heaven doesn't provide, don't worry, we will always bring ubi to your grave when we go visit you :)

i'm so so so sorry i can't attend your funeral and i blame myself for that...but you will always be in my heart...

this is the 2nd time i've watched "Juno". damn i loveeee this movie man! it's so funny with all the funny and ironic dialogues. for those who haven't watched it yet (which i doubt), you have to watch it, seriously! it's a comedy about a teenage girl named Juno dealing with her teenage pregnancy. it's a must watch! oh oh and the soundtrack of this movie is nice~ :D below are some of my favourite quotes:

Clubbing @ Euphoria!

Went to clubbing at Euphoria by Ministry of Sound@Sunway Lagoon Resort on Thursday night (11/9/08) with Judy, Beatrice, Beatrice's boyfriend Wei Mun (dunno is this the correct spelling or not...=p) and a bunch of Wei Mun's friends (not from TOA and judy and i never meet them before)


The interior is just awesome i tell you! and the lighting and also the sound system...they are just so...wah damn awesome la~ the pictures i took don't do justice to the real place. you really have to go there to experience the atmosphere yourself! :D oh and this club is non-smoking policy club so i like it! hehe =p

so yea...it was my 1st time clubbing so i thought maybe i won't go dance on the dance floor 'coz feeling shy and dunno how to dance...but no~ when i heard the music i just loose myself and dance to the rythm XD whoa! till now my waist and legs muscle still feel sore after several hours of twisting my waist and shaking my ass on high-heels...haha i really have to do more exersice man! i really like the feeling of letting go of yourself and dance to the groove...it's such a good feeling, like all the troubles are gone and there are no worries in this world! :D



you know how they always say "music brings people together"? well i found this saying is so true. music makes a bunch of people who dunno each other dance together :D Wei Mun's friends will come and dance with Judy and i so that we won't feel left out. and sometimes we will form a circle and dance together. it was just so fun! the only problem is i dunno how to dance and when they dance with me i tried very hard not to make a fool out of myself hahaha =p lamer...

Web Design I - Project 1

(note: web design lecturer and tutor can skip this part if you don't wanna waste your time hehe)
**this post is for project purpose and it's for the web design lecturer and tutor to read (in my 3rd term the MM lecturer forced wanted all MM students to have their own blogs so that they can use their blogs to express their ideas, do user tests and show their college projects. but...ahem, i sort of abuse this blog too much and blog about my own things rather than college projects...lol sorry~ =p) so yea for those who are not studying in TOA one can skip this post if you think this is boring and wasting your time...but i'd really appreciate it if you guys can give me some feedbacks! :D**

this project required us to build a website depends on what kind of job you choose using the most high-tech (said so by the lecturer haha) tool of all -- NOTEPAD! which means we can't use dreamweaver (darn!) and which means we can only do the html coding by hand (!) omg......but it was fun la typing the html codes...for now. haha.

so we had a lucky-draw to see which kind of job you picked...guess what, i'm an undertaker! (slap orilia for saying this job is suitable for me! haha)

so hmm...since i'm a (fake) undertaker, so i think my website will be dark and solemn themed. maybe...add in a little bit of gothic element in it? hmm~

my job is not like any normal undertaker who buried human's body...mine will be burying those wandering spirits' souls. ie: those who kill themself and die, his or her soul can't go to heaven so that's why he or her can only wander around on earth...and surely his or her family or loved ones don't have the heart to watch his or her poor souls wandering around so they will contact me to "catch" the wandering soul and let it rest in peace... erm get what i mean? man i'm so not good in explaining stuff =_=''

anyway, my page will consist of "about me" page, a page that intro what kind of wandering spirits are there on earth, a page about the "weapons" i use to "catch" the souls, "service page" and "contact" page. (or maybe a "testimonial" page? =/)

for the style of the design, maybe it's gonna be sketchy style like the picture below:

Black Saturday

my wai po (grandma of my mother's side) was admitted to hospital (again) due to breathing problem. she was fine few days ago until yesterday...fever + breathing problem + falling in and out of consciousness.

so my mum called an ambulance to send her to the hospital.

that time was around 8pm something...the wind was howling and it was about to rain. somewhere in the distance i could hear the sound of the coming ambulance. around me people (my mum, grandpa and the maid) were busy running around collecting all the things that need to be brought to the hospital.

i hope she won't.

feel so kesian for my mum also...she has not eaten since that afternoon 'coz have to take care of wai po...and her body is getting weaker and weaker already...

sigh. why so many things happen suddenly??

and tomorrow i will be leaving miri to kl to start my new term. will be leaving with a heavy heart.

Let It Flow with the Wind...

inspired by the movie "Elizabethtown" starring Orlando Bloom and Kristen Dunst. It is a really must see movie! i like it not because of Orlando Bloom (although initially i downloaded the movie is because of him hohoho) but because the movie is...hmm...how to say...it is very touching in a not-so-dramatic way.

anyway, here's a synopsis of the movie i found on internet (not going to write myself 'coz i'm a lazy bum not good in writing synopsis): " Drew Baylor, once a rising star at a leading athletic shoe company, has just been fired due to the overwhelming failure of his design for a sneaker and $972 million loss his company suffered because of the fiasco. As if that wasn't bad enough, things get even worse: Drew receives a phone call informing him that his father has passed away--and now, he must get on a plane for Elizabethtown, Kentucky, to retrieve his father's remains. On the plane ride, Drew meets Claire, a flight attendant and unstoppably positive woman who changes the course of his life. It is in Kentucky that Drew comes to learn the breadth of his father's life and his own family roots. Drew, with the help of Claire, submits to discovering the possibilities for his own destiny."

ok back to the picture. it was inspired by the ending of this movie when Drew (acted by Orlando) took out the ashes of his deceased father and just let the ashes "flow" along with the wind. that moment was captured beautifully in the movie...and that scene makes my tears flow. you may not "feel" the mood through my poorly written descriptions so i urge you to watch the movie yourself!

you guys should watch it, seriously! it may not be popular and it may not be oh-so-dramatic and maybe you will find it boring because there are not much dramatic elements in this movie but hey! try to change your taste and perspectives sometimes and explore different things once in awhile~ you will never know how much pleasure and surprises it brings to you :) and who knows, you may even fall in love with the things you thought you will never like before! :)

p/s: cherish and treasure the time with your family while you can! 'coz in this movie Drew was supposed to have a road trip around America with his father but then because he was busy with work and so they can't make it and have to postpone the trip. mana tahu his father passed away and the road trip really can't be carry out anymore. so in the end he brought the ashes of his deceased father along with him on a road trip. each time he reached a destination he will sprinkle some of the ashes to that place...ok i should shuddup now i'm such a movie spoiler omg *slap self*

p/p/s: Chien Yu! remember you suggested an idea for me last time? about sand in a bottle that one? i'm sorry i can't make it 'coz i can't find a bottle and smash it to create the image that you want i'm so so sorrrryyyyy!! ;__; but this picture is kinda close to your idea la hor? =/ will try to do your idea next time as soon as i can get my hand on an empty bottle that no one used! >_<
